At regular intervals the practice has a medical student in the surgery to observe the working of general practice.
The receptionists will inform patients of the presence of a medical student at the time of making their appointment. Patients who do not wish their consultation with the doctor to be observed by the student are asked to indicate their wishes to the receptionist who will arrange an alternative appointment.

    Computer

The practice has a computer upon which some patient data is recorded. This makes health screening activities easier and enables us to run the practice efficiently. We are registered under the Data Protection Act, and all information stored is kept strictly confidential.

    Fundholding

The Fundholding scheme finished on the 31.3.99 and was replaced by groups of medical practices working together to purchase all services for patients within the Primary Care Trusts. Further information is available at request.
