 Notes:

/    Where the Douay translation is archaic or excessively slavish to the Latin, such that the meaning is obscured, the word(s) in the translation are replaced by my interpretation in dark green.
/    Where the Douay verse boundary conflicts with the Vulgate boundary, the offending Douay text is moved to comply, and coloured dark red.
/    Where the Vulgate verse was missing, though the Douay verse was present, the Vulgate verse was made good from another source, and coloured purple.
/    Where the Vulgate is perceived to be substantially in error, it is corrected in signal red.  This applies to illogical gramatical forms and phrases which seem to have been misinterpreted during translation from another language.  Consider 'water goat', where 'hydraulic ram' was intended.  The corresponding change in the Douay is also so coloured.
/    Where the Douay translation is clearly perverse, it is corrected in signal red.
/    Where the Douay expands on the Vulgate, the expansion is Low Lighted in pale grey.
/    Starting with John, as the most obscure Gospel, I have started to break up the verses into fragments, in both Latin and English, so that the fragments can be easily cross-correlated.  I have also decided to ammend the English translation where it is either obscure, excessively Latinistic, or unnecessarily re-arranged from the Latin sequence of phrases.  Where re-arrangement is not possible without making the English either obscure, or incomprehensible, I have used colours to relate the equivalent phrases.  This I will in due course, apply to the remaining Gospels.
/    In the centre of each page now you will find, in many places, Arabic numbers in blue, with Roman numerals in red beneath.  These are the Eusebian Canon References.  They are Linked to the Canon Tables, which are in themselves cross-linked back to the referenced Ammonian Sections.
