ABOUT OUR PARISH |

Christ Church parish covers about two square miles of which two-thirds is on Wimbledon Common. Nonetheless, there are 6,000 residents in the other third. We are well served for schools and shops. Travel is easy: from Wimbledon, Waterloo and Kingston are less than 15 minutes away, Westminster, by Underground, about 25 minutes. There are regular bus services too. The local authority is the London Borough of Merton. |
8am Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer. A quiet reflective celebration.10am Parish Eucharist . Our main service of the week when all ages come together to worship God in words and music. There is a creche for little ones, whilst children of 4 upwards are invited to join our Junior Church. Everyone is welcome, both at our worship and for coffee afterwards.6.30pm Evensong . We finish the weekend by praising God in hymns and psalms and with quiet reflection. On the first Sunday of each month we use the Book of Common Prayer. |
