Old Lambeg Drums from Manor Street Orange Hall

 

 

 

 

These Drums are reportedly 100-150 years old and have been aquired by Angus Fifes for restoration.

One Drum is called The Maid of Donaghadee, the other is called The Cock of Upper Ards.

The Drums are currently being restored with new hoops, heads, ropes and buffs

We hope to have them finished by early summer 2011 for exhibitions and demonstrations
