I've been a regular contributor to Panini UK's Doctor Who Magazine since 1997, contributing DVD, book and audio previews, feature articles, interviews with writers and actors, and shorter discursive or celebratory pieces. Many of these are not of long-term or archival interest but a few are worth showcasing, and these are offered below...

Script Doctors

On the announcement in 2003 that Doctor Who was to return to BBC One, and on the understanding that lead writer and showrunner Russell T. Davies would be well quoted elsewhere, I pitched and followed through on a series of interview features with the various supporting writers of that first season. The idea was extended into later series and other writers also become involved in compiling these features, but I did the bulk of these for the first three series, and full versions of these are presented here at this site.

Rona Munro

Rona Munro - the writer of the final story in the classic Doctor Who series run, Survival - has rarely been interviewed on the subject of Doctor Who and her involvement in it, despite her high profile in other spheres including successful, lauded and award-winning work in the theatre and in cinema. Until, that is, now; a full, frank and absorbing Rona Munro interview - conducted as a potential DWM piece - is now online at this site...

Murray Gold

Murray Gold has supplied all the incidental music for the returning Doctor Who series over its first five years. I have been fortunate enough to interview him on the subject three times: firstly during transmission of the first series, then at an orchestral recording and mixing session in the middle of the second series, and finally at the Doctor Who prom concert at the Royal Albert Hall following the conclusion of the fourth series.
