Optional rule: ships under attack can use up to 50% of their AA strength against aircraft attacking friendly ships. For example, the ATLANTA (AA=10) is escorting ENTERPRISE. The carrier is attacked by 5 dive bombers, the cruiser by 2 torpedo bombers. 5 AA points can be used to assist in the defence of ENTERPRISE.
