This page is dedicated to "Full
Thrust", the popular starship combat rules from GZG which
has become a "standard" across the globe. I have been
using FT and the first supplement, "More Thrust" for
many years.
FT has often been referred to as naval wargaming in space, so I suppose its not surprising that I have become so fond of the game. I have used my naval wargaming experience( and my naval experience from the real world - yes, there really is one) to create a series of new rules covering such areas as refit and repair, training, eand scape and rescue. I've also drawn on many years of research (or, to put it another way, many years of playing in SF RPGs, reading and watching Star Trek, Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, the excellent Buck Rogers in the 25th Century and many other famous and infamous SF/F books, films and TV series) to come up with other new rules covering non lethal weaponry and FTL travel, and some scenarios. Many of these have been featured in editions of the SFSFW's journal, Ragnarok. For those of you who aren't members (why haven't you joined?) or for members who don't have the back issues, the Rag' articles and other goodies are included here on this page.

Tripping the Light Fantastic - FTL drives and alternatives
