Happy Birthday Roger
Today is Roger Lyon's 60th Birthday, amicus MSF are celebrating with a slap up party at the residential Whitehall College complete with swimming pool and fireworks.

An MSF branch meeting was told their Health and Safety course, booked and confirmed at the union's college, would have to finish early on Saturday not Sunday as planned, cutting approximately one third off it. In the evening MSF are planning instead to have a birthday celebration for Roger's 60th. The person reporting this even mentioned the possibility of a fireworks display for Roger and the NEC. To quote from the brochure:

"The College is dedicated to the education and training of MSF members, lay officers, workplace representatives and full time officials." but, happily, "It’s not all work at the College! There is an outdoor heated swimming pool, with an adjacent sauna. The 21 acres of College parkland and the surrounding countryside are ideal for walking."
