MSF backs multi-national drug firms' boycott of ethical Banks that 'give in' to animal rights 'terrorists'

MSF today gave its whole hearted support to the Pharmaceutical Industry in its threat to boycott ethical financial institutions who 'give in' to animal rights 'extremists'.

MSF has campaigned for support for the boycott from government and the pharmaceutical companies.

'If abuse is not done in Britain it will be done abroad and the case for the big drug companies retaining big profits in this country will be weakened' said MSF National Secretary Rover Spillers.

MSF General Secretary Roger Lyson said

'MSF is delighted that the pharmaceutical employers have joined with us in defending animal abuse in Britain. Thousands of jobs are at risk if the financial institutions are allowed to pander to a small minority of animals. Animal abuse worldwide is best served by giving it a secure home in Britain where regulation is strict'
