NATIONAL OFFICER (CONSTRUCTION & CONTRACTING SECTOR)

A vacancy has arisen for a National Officer in the Construction & Contracting Sector.

The position is open to all Regional Officers and senior members of staff to apply.

The National Officer will have overall responsibility for the Construction & Contracting Sector, which predominantly covers members in Mechanical and Electrical Contracting, Plumbing and the Engineering Construction trades.  The post will cover members’ interests in all aspects of Construction including Commercial, PFI, NHS and Local Authority projects.

Anyone wishing to apply should submit their application in writing, in the following form:

· Full name

· Current grade/job title

· Current office

· Trade union employment history

· Background/experience for National Officer appointment

· Reason/interest in applying for National Officer vacancy

The above information will be used to assist the selection panel in drawing up a shortlist for interviews.  Interviews will be held on Tuesday, 5^th July at King Street.
