Further to your letter dated 13th August entitled "Termination of Membership - Appeals Machinery" I confirm that my representative Ian Rez and I will attend the NEC meeting on 14th September. For the record:

1) This "long accepted practice" as you put it, has no foundation in rule and therefore is not part of the appeals machinery.

2) It breaches a requirement of natural justice which is that people do not sit in judgement on their own decisions.

Please advise how long we will be permitted to speak for.
