At least 16 Solos gathered for the final event of the 2007 Scottish Solo programme at Loch Earn.
For the last two Loch Earn events, the wind had blasted ferociously down the loch from the West. This time although the characteristic cloud was there hanging over the hills flanking the loch, there was not enough wind to contemplate racing. After a couple of postponements the event was reluctantly abandoned. The prizegiving for the travellers series was held as planned, along with a draw for a new Speed sail sponsored by Duncan Hepplewhite of Scottish Sailing & Speed Sails. The thirteen qualifiers for the travellers series were each represented by a walnut with their name carefully packed inside and Colin Tait (race officer for the day) picked the winning walnut, David Lumbard.
