THE DUNDEE SCENE - LIVE IN CONCERT

When I put my first live review up here in April of 2004, I had no idea that, nearly five years and nearly 400 concert attendances later, it would turn into this. I go to concerts because I love the band and artists. Occasionally I will venture forth into something where I have no clue about any of the bands on the line-up beforehand, but generally, there's at least one band on a bill that makes me want to go see that particular concert.
As I've said many times to many people, I rarely go to a concert just to do a review (unless specifically asked) - I go to a concert to enjoy myself - if the bands turn in such a great night that it inspires me to want to write and tell you how good they were, then that's fine by me!
I do have problems when, for example, on a four band set, one band plays a stunner and the rest....err....don't! That's why I started doing the "concert reviews in brief" section, to get round that. Occasionally, if a band's performance merits a review that might be less than favourable but in which I can be constructive as to why that is the case, then I will write that up, too - but a mere dull performance (in my humble opinion, of course - lol), will get ignored or, at best, mentioned. All bands and artists who see a review on here and are unhappy with any aspect of it, should contact me as soon as possible to sort out the problem. Any artist/band has the right to request that a review be removed from the site if they are unhappy with its content - but, in just under 5 years, only one band ever has......so I must be doing something right!!!
