FULL METAL RACKET (Classic Rock Covers) + SYTH + WITCHBLADE
Dundee debut for one of Scotland's leading bands who play first rate covers from a raft of the most Classic rock and metal bands from the seventies and eighties. With a full 90 minute set, this is gonna be one night that will delight even the most jaded of Classic Rock fans and is one you simply can't afford to miss. Also features the return of Glasgow's fiery Classic Rock band Syth and the next gig from the Iron Maiden-styled Dundee band Witchblade who went down a storm at their debut gig a few weeks back. "DundeE-Live" - JOHN DYSON + ALTRES + IAN BODDY + ION + RON BERRY + VIETGROVE + MODULATOR ESP
A 12 hour festival of electronic music marking the 25th Anniversary of "UK Electronica 1983", the original all-day UK Synth music festival, last held in Sheffield in 1990 and now resurrected for a one-off festival and the first time ever in Scotland. Fans of Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra and Vangelis, to name but a few, will enjoy all of the artists and bands playing at this special event. Advance tickets for the full 12 hour festival are Ł10, available at Grouchos in the Nethergate now, and mail order from CD Services on 01382 -776595 with entry on the day at Ł15. THE GOODNIGHTS + AIRSPIEL + 1 tbc
Quality all round is the order fo tonight as three of the very best songwriting indie bands in Scotland appear on the same stage for the very first time. Dundee's own Goodnights headline a concert that features the Dundee debut of awesome Glasgow band Airspiel, with Dunfermline's energetic, anthemic indie band New Rock Chemists making their city debut also and opening up the event - THIS is one you can't afford to miss - a paltry Ł3 gets you the best indie gig in the city that night.

ILLICIT STILL + RODAN + HEAVY DRAPES
Dead Earnest Promotions follows Mermaid's great work by providing an evening of incendiary Classic Rock. Headlined by general rock covers band Illicit Still, the suport comes from two bands new to the city in the form of Glasgow hi-octane "old skool" Classic Rock band Rodan who open up the proceedings, plus a special guest performance from much touted rock band Heavy Drapes who have recently signed a concert deal with a leading promotions company, but have agreed to play this specially for Dead Earnest - it's gonna be a rockin' good night - again, Ł3 is all it takes to get you rocked.

Not to be confused with Dundee dance act The Electrolites, Electrolite are a quality indie band who will be opening the evening before Dundee's Chiaro and Dunfermline's Paranoid Monkeys take the stage to provide some of the best rock-meets-indie songs and playing around from unsigned bands in Scotland today. Ł3 is the small price to pay for some spectacular live music entertainment.
