The Battle of Camden A Demonstration Game by Morris and Jones |
Figures The figures I have used are from three manufacturers.
- Most are from the Wargames Foundry AWI range sculpted by Alan Perry, along with a few Foundry French Revolutionary civilians amongst the militia
- The Highlanders are from Alan's own company - Perry Miniatures
- I have used some of the West Wind "Gothic Horror" figures for the American militia - specifically from the "Sleepy Hollow" range.

Conversions As the current range of figures is quite limited it has been necessary to convert some figures to get just what I wanted. All conversions were carried out using "green stuff" epoxy putty from Games Workshop.
- The British Legion cavalry, along with their commander - Banastre Tarleton - were converted from Foundry AWI Continental Light Dragoons. All that I changed was the helmets, replacing the horsehair crest with the fur crest and feather characteristic of the "Tarleton" helmet. The cut of the jackets is not absolutely accurate, but they are close enough for now.
- The light infantry of Armand's legion (formerly Pulaski's) wear light dragoon helmets. These figures started off as "Uniformed Milita Firing Line" (Foundry) Of the 6 figures in the unit one has a straight head swap with a continental light dragoon figure and the other five have had their tricorne hats cut away and new helmets sculpted on to match those worn by the dragoons. I would have liked to have done a few more of these, but Foundry changed the code number for this pack after production started and three orders for more of these figures all resulted in the wrong figures being delivered!!
