Pickering's loss is our gain.
Pickering has lost the Castle Cinema, but we have gained a tower and a couple of hundred seats.
The projectionists
dismantled the projection room on the Friday before Christmas
and a team from the cinema took out nearly 200 seats.
They are all safely stored and awaiting refurbishment. More details later.
