The Ritz gets a new projector;

In its continuing mission to bring the best cinematic experience to Thirsk,
the Ritz has invested in a refurbished current model projector;
a Victoria 5MI from the Italian firm Cinemeccanica.

I know it looks old, it has been manufactured since 1975 (The Kaylee dates back to the 50s)
and is currently being installed in new multiplexes! It holds over 2.5 hours of film, so there
will be fewer changovers. Also it gives us the opportunity for Dolby Digital sound.
