Thirsk Cinema forms a Limited Company

In order to better access funds and to put the cinema on a more professional footing it, the cinema, has become
a Private Limited Company (Ritz Cinema (Thirsk) Limited) with share capital registered at companied House. Registered No: 05948898.

The existing volunteer committee of 13 members have been voted to the board and each own a single share
in the company of £1. This share to be transferred on leaving the board to their successor.

The Company chairman is John Potter, the secretary Michele I'Anson.

The cinema will continue to run as before, there will be no changes,
the committee (board )and will continue to 'muck in' as they always did.
