Early BARTON references

There are a number of early medieval references in the form .... de Barton, such as:

    1300  John de BARTON (Feet of Fines for Yorkshire).

There are a lot of 16th century (and earlier) references in the IGI.   Here are just a few:

    1493 The birth of Alice BARTON at Wingham, Kent.

    1506  The birth of Elizabeth BARTON at Aldington, Kent.

    02/12/1550  The marriage, at Westminster in London, of Alyce BARTON & Robert CHAMBERLAYNE.

    13/12/1557   The baptism, at Felpham in Sussex, of Margareta BARTON, the daughter of Hugonis & Alicia BARTON.
