There are 54 places where FOGDENs are recorded although there are none in Scotland and Wales.
Sussex is still the FOGDEN heartland with 96 of the 258 recorded (37% of the total). Although the adjacent counties of Hampshire & Surrey have 49 FOGDENs there is a sizeable cluster (45) in the Leeds area of Yorkshire.
