On 22nd October 1796 John PLANK married Lucy HART at St Michael's, Lewes. They were both described as 'otp'. John, a labourer, died at Eastbourne in 1829 at the age of 52. Lucy survived him by 25 years but ended her days at the Eastbourne Workhouse "In receipt of Parish relief". She died there in 1854 at the age of 78. I have not come across any children of this marriage.
On 15th February 1798 Susanna PLANK married William BAKER, a widower, at Warnham. They were both described as 'otp'. As the Parish of Warnham borders Surrey it could be that Susanna had her roots there.
