WHERE DID THE BIKE SHEDS GO?

Ace reporter Charlotte Boston uncovers the truth!

Sixth Sense gets the inside info on bike sheds

Pupils promised new and better bike sheds in near future

Well after talking to Mr. Bendry we can confirm that they actually fell down during the summer, but why?

They were checked and it was certain that they were safe, but the high winds during the summer proved too much for the bike sheds to take and they collapsed.

We also spoke to the caretaker Eric, who can also confirm that they were safe and also that they had been previously inspected due to wear and rust on the poles, but the wind was too much of a match for the bike sheds.

However it has all now been cleared away by a specialist demolition firm assures Mr. Bendry, due to the fact that asbestos was present, although this was completely harmless when the bike sheds were intact.

But, never fear! Some new bike sheds are going to be built in a safer place,

Unfortunately at the moment though the cyclists will have to make do with a temporary bar to lock their bikes to.

Mr. Bendry and the Caretaker both feel confident that the area currently being used for a 'bike shed' is safe and perhaps safer that the previous bike shed where the bikes were easily accessible.

The bike shed will be built after the new 3D suite for the art block is built, and I am assured by the Caretaker that it will be soon.

Mr. Bendry is optimistic it will be done in 12 months!
