| Dear Kay,
Nearly 2 years ago, I had a relationship with this boy, the relationship lasted for over 9 months. He lived a long way from me, which made things difficult, we managed to see each other quite a bit. He would drive down a see me, and I would go and visit him. He finished with me by text; I haven’t spoken to him since. I will never forget him, nor the things we did or the times that we spent together, it still hurts and I still love him. I want to contact him again, should I? If so, should I write to him or should I drop him a line? HELP! (NAME AND AGE WITHHELD) |
You face a problem, which can only
really be answered by you. There are so many things that you have to ask
yourself. Like, what do you want from this, a relationship or a
friendship? It really doesn’t matter how you contact him, just as though
you set the record straight from the beginning.
I know that your “first -love” is the most important thing, and you will never forget it. But if you do decide to contact him after all this time, then don’t expect him to feel the same way as you, this could cause more damage and ruin things permanently! My advice to you is to THINK long and hard about this, think about the consequences of actions before you carry them out. Most importantly don’t go through with it, if you still have doubts about contacting him, you have to be certain. |
