The BSIA have recently admitted Derwent to the CCTV section of the Association as a Principal member.  All committee members of the BSIA were pleased to appoint Derwent and said ‘this was a quality company and they endorsed the application’.

Derwent are becoming global players in the CCTV market, especially in the field of infra-red illumination and combined camera and lighting solutions.  ‘The BSIA is an important step for Derwent and we hope that the relationship furthers our growth in both the Europe and North America.’ said Shaun Cutler, Marketing Manager.  The UK market has numerous technical leaders in the field of CCTV and security and an industry body that helps promote these companies in the UK and abroad is essential.

Derwent hopes to play a part in helping the UK CCTV industry remain technical leaders. The company feels it is important that the industry focuses on achieving CCTV pictures that are effective during both day and night, and hope to promote this 24hr CCTV focus at ESSEN and through continuous product development in combined camera and lighting products.
