Derwent will be launching the first truly external, medium range, rugged, EXTERNAL combined camera and LED package.   Derwents EX38 gained a lot of interest when previewed at IFSEC and will be launched into the European marketplace in September.

This rugged and attractive covert unit works in zero lighting conditions up to 40 meters.  Camera combinations and lens options ensures that this product is a practical solution for numerous external applications, such as car parks, entry and exit ways and traditional building protection schemes.

Derwent say “that the EX38 is positioned to save the installer and end user both time and money…by combining camera, lens, heater, housing and illumination into one product”.  In addition the unit comes with a cable-managed bracket and a photocell for dusk dawn switching of the IR illumination.

The EX38 builds on the same technology as the internal units the EX35 and EX37 but radiates more power on the scene and is fully IP rated.  The addition of this unit now means that internal and external environments can be covered on a 24hr basis from one single flexible unit
