AMBER

Amber was already 2 years old by the time she came to live with us.  She had just had her litter and was looking for a new home.   We had just lost Bess, our first bulldog and the house seemed pretty quiet.   So it was agreed that we would be her new mum and dad.  She settled in immediately and although  I'm sure that Amber wishes that there weren't so many other bulldogs around, especially the pups - she is a great little dog with plenty of character. Having spent the early part of her life in the show ring under her breeder Mr Paul Kent.  She now lives here with us in the lap of luxury.

This is Amber in her most favourite place - the arm chair.  She has recently had surgery for ruptured cruciate ligments in both of her back legs, so the footstool that is strategically placed infront of the airmchair isn't for our human guests - but for Amber.

Here is Amber after her second cruciate op sporting her "turkey leg".   She's not so good on her back legs now and has arthritis in both knees but one thing our Amber sure is, is a fighter - the true bulldog spirit.

Amber is known as "Queenie" around here due to the fact that she thinks she is "Da Boss".  But she can gain the affection of just about anyone she pleases and can turn on the charm at the drop of a hat.
