Following our successful flying holiday to the Italian Riviera in 2004 and as a result of requests from our members about a return to the region by coach, I visited Diano Marina on the Italian Riviera during April 2009, where l have selected a first class Hotel in a wonderful location, right alongside the beach with fantastic views of The Bay. Members have stated they would like extra days for their holidays so that they are able to fully enjoy the Hotel facilitates, whilst relaxing and benefiting from the surrounding area plus having a fully included, guided coach touring programme of excursions. Channel Crossing will be by EuroTunnel shuttle train and overnight accommodation to and from Italy will be at the 3 star Novotel Dijon Sud Hotel, Marsannay-la-Cote, France. Our main holiday accommodation is located right by the beach at the San Bartolomeo, eastern promenade end, of Diano Marina, at the very exclusive 4 STAR GRAND HOTEL DIANO MAJESTIC. The location of the Hotel will give you stunning views of the Bay of Diano Marina, from your bedroom balcony. The Grand Hotel Diano Majestic, is located at the waters edge, with its own private beach. You will have stunning views of the Bay of Diano Marina from the dining room, sun terrace and gardens. Every bedroom has its own balcony, which are located on the sides of the Hotel giving views of The Bay, Hotel Gardens and Diano Marina or The Bay, Hotel Swimming Pools and San Bartolomeo. Our rooms include en-suite facilities, telephone, safe, television, hairdryer and air conditioning. The Hotel facilities include a sun terrace, lifts, television lounge, outdoor swimming pools, restaurants, garden and private beach. The Hotel is approximately ¾ mile from the centre of Diano Marina, which is about a 20 minute walk on a level surface or a short taxi ride, a local bus stop is about 200 yards from the Hotel.

The Novotel Dijon Sud Hotel is situated on the Bourgogne wine rute, 10 minutes from Dijon and bordering the Marsannay-La-Côte vineyards. It features an outdoor swimming pool and a pretty garden. With a peaceful setting, the spacious rooms at the Novotel Dijon Sud are comfortable and well equipped. This will be our base for our overnight stays as we travel to and from Italy, with included dinner, bed and breakfast, we will NOT be using the Hotel as a base for visiting Dijon or touring the surrounding wine growing area.
