ROVERS LINKED WITH CITY
STAR
Sky Sports
report that Rovers have been refused permission to speak to Lee Mathews about
a possible loan move to the Memorial Stadium.
During the weekly addition of Football League Review, a watcher on
at City's 1-1 draw with Peterborough was quoted as saying the following,
"Meanwhile, City's arch rivals, Rovers have been declined in an approach
to take City striker Lee Matthews on-loan."
Despite Junior Agogo's injured knee which keep him out for at least a month,
Rovers seem to have enough back up at the top end of the pitch. New striking
sensation Lewis Haldane is winning rave reviews, and the return of the already
inform Andy Rammell has boosted Rovers previously struggling front line.
Both have scored 4 goals between them in their past 2 games, and with Paul
Tait already notching up a respectable 6 goals this term, its hard to see
why Graydon wants another striker, whilst the left side of midfield looks
like being the main burden with Lee Hodges injured, and Kevin Street departed
for Shrewsbury.
