Youth Novel - Blue Train To The Moon

In BLUE TRAIN TO THE MOON, Sylvie desperately wants to escape her boring life.  Her friend, Sandra, introduces her to the Rocky Street Clubs.  She meets Mario and finds herself in a situation out of control… she might be HIV positive, and she might lose the only person she has learnt to confide in.

The story is in diary format with rough scribbles, which reflect how Sylvie feels.  I was teaching art in a boys’ school at the time and wanted to write a story, not specifically about AIDS, but about coping with life-changing situations.
