If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding reception, birthday party, college reunion, anniversaries, etc. then perhaps I can help? I am available for private hire and have vast experience of all kind of functions having been in the business since 1980.
I have a high quality mobile sound and light system
as well as a vast collection of music covering most genres from the past 50 years
or so. I will always try to mix up the music you want to hear and value your input
at all times.

My charge for the full roadshow including sound and light equipment is around £250.00 for a standard 4 hour set though I can go on for longer if required at an extra hourly rate. If I have to travel outside of the general Southampton area then an appropriate amount would be charged for the fuel used.
If the venue has it's own full soundsystem and means that I don't have to bring my own amps, speakers etc. then I will reduce the price for you depending on the individual situation.

Important notices
At
the present time I can not do private functions on Saturday or Wednesday nightsbut
please enquire any way.
Due to having
had 2 major spinal operations in the past few years lifting heavy equipment is
a big problem for me. Hence I can not accept any bookings to the following type
of venues
a, those that have lots of stairs to clime or involve using
lifts etc.
b, that I can not directly park outside or that involve a
long journey to and from the van whilst loading.
I
will require a parking space to be reserved for my van!!
Please
note if I accept a booking and later find the venues have any of the above or
I have to park elsewhere I reserve the right to cancel.
Sorry
to sound all heavy and that but I have to face facts that my back is very dodgy
and I'm getting old.
Footnote
It's also important to note that I'm not going to wear a penguin suit like your average stiff wedding DJ or don a scooby doo fancy dress outfit like many a wally party disc jockey!!
( I might slip on a kilt though thanks to my families Scottish background!!.)
I will however dress smartly to suit the occasion.
What you see is what you get with me!! so please don't book me if you want some old stiff giving it all the old cliché's.
I do have the odd drink or five whilst working and will go with the flow hopefully bantering with the crowd to create an great atmosphere.
I am a seasoned pro though and will be on my very best behavior early on to make sure that all the traditional parts of the evening run smoothly and correctly. (i.e.the first dance, photo opportunities, cake cutting and announcements)
