Independent Health Screening provides comprehensive health checks of a high standard with special regard to an individual service. The full health screen comprises:
| Consultation to include your full current and past medical history, family and social history |
| Extensive clinical examination |
| Comprehensive blood tests |
| Urine Examination |
| Electrocardiograph (ECG - heart tracing) |
| Lung function tests with computerised analysis |
| Screening audiometry (hearing assessment) |
| Visual testing with special reference to VDU's if required |
| Breast examination with emphasis on teaching self-examination technique |
| Pelvic examination and cervical smear |
The health screen takes approx. 60-90 minutes and is carried out by a doctor with 12 years experience in this field.
The results are collated and a detailed report is sent to you with specific advice intended to deal with any immediate problems, and improve future health. A copy is also sent to your GP unless you request otherwise.

X-Ray examinations are not performed routinely. If there is a good clinical indication for radiographic studies then these can be arranged at the most convenient site for you. These will be charged at the prevailing local rate.
Other medical screens are available such as pre-employment, sports and insurance medicals, the prices for which are available on request.
