Let's Go Ballooning!!

Very early Saturday morning, August 11, we took a hot-air balloon trip to celebrate our 15-year wedding anniversary. Here's Sooz and Grant in front of our balloon. Sooz and Grant in front of the balloon to give a scale of how big it was!

Here's our launch site, rapidly receding beneath us. The bucolic countryside of Petworth drifted serenely below.

Safely on the ground, here's the happy honeymoon couple, still crazy after a decade-and-a-half... We landed in a farmer's soggy field (and he was not too thrilled to see us!) Grant helped roll up the balloon and pack it.
