Critchley Solidarity March and Rally in Stroud
Tuesday 24 March 1998

11:00 -12:00 Marchers assemble at Stroud Leisure Centre, Stratford Park.

12:00 - 12:30 March to Rally.

Speakers from the Sacked Critchley Strikers, CWU, TUC and Labour Party.

Why Stroud?

Stroud in Gloucestershire houses a large Critchley plant, which includes the facility for silk screen printing of products previously made by the sacked Critchley workers.

Stroud is also the home of the Critchley Group's Chairman, a pivotal individual now that the former Critchley Labels' Managing Director, John White, has left the company.

The Communication Workers Union intends to demonstrate its solidarity with the sacked Critchley members, and to show its resolve to the Chairman of Critchley.
