Critchley Strikers - March and Rally

CRITCHLEY LABELS DISPUTE

1st November  1997

A March and Rally to support the Critchley 31 is being held in Cardiff on Saturday 1st November.  The March will assemble at 12:30 in Sophia Gardens and move off at 1:00pm.  The Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Wales, Peter Hain, is to meet a deputation of strikers at the Welsh Office where the rally will take place on the steps.
The Rally will begin around 1:45 pm

  • Edwina Hart, Chair Wales TUC
  • David Morris, Member of the European Parliament

    The Critchley strikers were sacked for the right to have their union recognised.
