Started life as the Hallcross, changed to Doctor Brown's, then Dexy's . The original Hallcross was a real ale enthusiast's Mecca, they even brewed their own beer on the premises.
This latest incarnation of The Hallcross is a rockers dream. Goths and piercings galore and excellent beer at reasonable prices. Closes at midnight weekends. Heads down, teeth in and rock!

The hallcross is now the main venue for retro/rock bands, hendrix, zeppelin, van hooligan, sex pistols, eagles, etc, most Fri, Sat, Tues, nights. A bit sparodic at the moment, but getting there.

Decent Beer, quality music and good pool players.
