Australian theme pub occupying the corner of Printing Office Street and Priory Walk. Has a stage and its own DJ who plays a good selection of music keeping the party atmosphere going 'til the early hours. Also features live bands. The drinks are ridiculously expensive but the beer has improved of late.

Always packed, good pint, excellent atmosphere and some above average bands playing all your favourite hits on a regular basis. The large screen also makes it an ideal option for watching the big footy match on a weekend! There's usually a bevy of beautiful ladies to be found also! Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah!!!

I am from Australia, was in Doncaster in 2005 and visited the Walkabout Pub.... It was great ( whilst feeling homesick ) to walk into a pub and have a little familiarity about the place and to top it off the barman was from Perth, the people were friendly... pub by day nightclub by night... I took a few pics while I was there and I think your website could do with a couple of pictures of the decor inside ie: the dunnies sign, the big red kangaroo and of course the framed picture of Brett Kenney ( famous football, Parramatta player of the eighties ) and the crocodile with a penguin in its mouth?... really feel that should be updated to a koala or dingo maybe..lol..Anyway great website... keep it up.. another favourite pub of mine were the red lion and the Armthorpe w.m.c....

Is a good pub for dancing, listening to music and watching sports. Drinks are poor (I don't drink beer so can't tell you about that). They seem to have their own "cheap" brands that aren't cheap! Is always packed at the weekend so get there early or avoid it completely at night. The doormen are always rude and obnoxious so don't expect to be treated like a human being. Oh, and you have to pay after a certain time at the weekend. Haven't had food, but hear it is nice.

Walkabouts absoloutely brilliant! Love going there! Yeah it might get a bit packed later on at night, but that's what makes if so fab, along with the music and the atomosphere lets not forget! It's the last place I visit on a night with my mates, and that's because we all think it's the best!

And people who moan about paying money to get in, it's only £2/£3! Not like they're asking you for an arm and a leg is it?! lol.

Also, the drinks are only the same price as any regular pub/club in town, give or take a small amount! If you want a cheap night out in walkabout, go on tues'! It's classed as student night, and that's why they do their drinks cheap, for us students ;) lol, but you see and meet people of all ages in there on student night!

And for whoever said the bouncers' are rude :S I personally don't think so, never had no problems with any of them what so ever.
