The scene is set by the children of many nations coming out onto the stage with peace lanterns in their hands. They lay their lanterns on the water and sit down on the banks of the river.
The children bid final farewells to their lanterns and depart.
Evil spirits and the princess of darkness enter and run amok. Their intentions to harm are obvious.
The lanterns are noticed by the heavenly angels.
The children of the world are beckoned on by the Angels to relate their messages and aspirations.
