The Enchanted Book TowerThe Leaning Tower of PisaThe Leaning Tower of Pisa

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the seven modern wonders of the world. It is an eight-story-high bell tower located in the city of Pisa, in the Tuscany region of Italy. One of the world's most famous landmarks, the tower, built more than 600 years ago, tilts more than 17 feet to the side. Many people think that the Tower leans because it is old and falling down. But the truth is, the Tower of Pisa has never stood straight--it started leaning before workers finished building it in the 1300s!
