Volume 5

The Circus Arrives in Town
One by one the
lorries go past.
Each tells a story from the first to the last.
When the clowns come people are dancing.
Throwing out sweets - boys and girls romancing.
Each lorry a float - a party on board.
Dragons and men swallowing swords.
This is surely the Earth's Greatest Show.
Oh please please mummy - can I go.

The Greatest Show
On Earth
The circus has come to town.
With funny clowns who perform silly tricks.
With water squirting from their clothes.
The elephants walk into the ring.
Theyre holding hands by holding their tails.
As they walk around the cage drops around the ring.
And in come fierce African tigers.
The Trainer cracks the whip and they perform their circus tricks

Hooray !!!
Circus has come to town today.
We all stand up in the queue to pay.
To sit and watch the great display.
We hustled and bustled to the best seats
Ready to watch this wonderful trest.
The lights go down and the show begins,
The band strikes up - oh waht a din.
Out comes the ringmasyer with his bright red cltohes.
And with a bow faces the rows.
Out came the lions and tigers too,
We started to think we were at the zoo.
Out came the clowns in a funny old car.
With a crash and a bang they didn't go that far.
They make us laugh they make us cry.
All to soon time for goodbye.
