A Poem from my Soul

There is a man a very special man indeed.
He was the one who led me to see the world.
He gave me eyes to see and a nose to smell.
And he loves all the children who live in the world as well.
We touch this man with our soul.
He keeps us safe in this bad world.
If my heart reaches out it will be safe.
This man loves you and me.

And in my soul I feel my mum and dad.
I feel my friends and my grand dad.
I have a person in my heart
And I will always love him.
Even when that person goes he'll always be with me.
That person is who I care about so much.
he played with me he got me a charm
He made sure I would come to no harm.

My friend did not talk much but I loved him so.
My heart has a lot of my granddad.
It made me very sad to see him cry when my Gran died.
But I know what's in his heart anyway.
My granddad always knew what was best
But now he doesn't remember anything.
He was a person who could tell my worries,
He was the best a child could ever have.

He lived with me for a while and then went to the home.
He was a present that heaven sent.
Nothing could split me and him up.
Noone that lives in this world.
The person who I love so much
Taught me to fight my hates.
He said he always hated fighting.
Even fighting with different religions.

He used to play the Lambeg drum.
And keeps lots of treasures of little tiny ones.
He is my best friend and always will be
And we will never get into trouble.
He is the best and always will be.
he is bored in the home with noone to talk to.
He is as gentle as a lamb and as strong as a lion.
He said he'd wish the world to stop the fightin.
