The following photos were supplied by Chris Byard and show the scene during various
contests by the club around 1978. In those days many of our VHF contests were done from a
site near Stokenchurch on the Chilterns, but other sites were also used. The photographs
here are mainly of the 2m Open contest in Porlock, Somerset, in May 1978. One of the
photos shows a scene from Longhill, our current NFD site.
Although the photos are old and many of the members are different (and much younger) it
seems nothing much has changed from what happens these days!
