Thrown
to the Wolves? Tuesday September 23rd 2003, 7.45pm A trip to Premiership opposition in the West Midlands at least gives DAFTS from all corners a chance of making a midweek trip in plush surroundings. Molineux is a decent ground, although the goal-starved locals will be hoping to see a win tonight, so let's not hope we're not the whipping boys.
Chelski on Saturday, Darlo a few days later...let's hope the culture shock will hit them! After conceding five at home on Saturday against Britain's richest club, it might be that the home side are feeling a little sore. This tie might have been a little different
if it had been at the Reynolds Arena, but Wolves in recent years haven't
exactly had a terrific home record, with a notoriously impatient support
at Molineux, so a shock while very difficult is not an impossible feat.
Wolves have experience (or just old legs) in Paul Ince and Denis Irwin,
former Sunderland midfielder Alex Rae, the wide threat of Mark Kennedy
and strikers Nathan Blake and Dean Sturridge, who may not cause havoc
against Premiership defences, but should prove a handful tonight. "The
Dingles," as they're affectionately known to their Midlands' rivals, brought
in the experienced Oleg Luhzny from Arsenal, the tigerish Joey Gudjohnssen
in midfield (Real Betis via Aston Villa) and Nigerian defender Isaac Okoronkwo
in the Summer. Almost certain to be missing are key-men Joleon Lescott
and Kenny Miller through injury.
Man to watch Henri Camara A Summer arrival from France, the Senegalese striker could be a handful up front for Wolves. Full match previews will appear on the D@rlo Uncovered and The Tinshed websites. Ground and ticket prices Ticket prices: Reduced from the usual Premiership price of £29 to £12 (£6 juniors) in the Jack Harris Stand (flank) behind the goal, where there are 1,500 seats. Wolves don't seem to opening all the ground for this one - respect, eh!? The usual away seating in the Steve Bull stand is closed for the night. On sale from the Darlo ticket office or admission on the turnstiles on the night. Click for Streetmap of ground Anything worth adding? Please e-mail us any suggestions.
By car Leave the M6 at junction 13. Follow the signs to Wolverhampton A449 for nine miles. Keep straight on under the M54 for nearly three miles, over three roundabouts, picking up signs to the Molineux centre, to a fourth roundabout. Carry straight on under two railway bridges to another roundabout, taking the third exit into Waterloo Road. The ground is on the left hand side after about half a mile. Look for signs for football parking or park in the city centre, including the Civic Hall. The official site has a parking guide, warning that there is a residents' only scheme in the Whitmore Reans area near the stadium. The site also has a map of the ground and directions, while the council also as a detailed web streetmap of the city centre. Trains and buses
A 10-15 minute walk. Out of the main
entrance and over the bridge. Stay left at the clock tower and under the

The Varsity pub and the Midland and General. Go straight on following the
signs to Strafford A449, to the Ring Road. You can see the ground across
