The Society is now in it's 36th
Year, with the membership now
standing at around 34.
Society
Aims
1. To popularise
astronomy at an amateur level.
2. To disseminate astronomical information.
3. To provide advice and guidance in all things astronomical
4. To provide advice and guidance in the choice and suitability
of optical equipment for observational purposes.
5. To provide a forum to enable people of like interests to meet
on a regular basis.
6. The society is entirely non profitmaking.

Meetings
The society meets monthly from
September to June
on the 1st Tuesday of the month.
Meetings are held at 21st
Hartshill Scout Group HQ, Mount Pleasant, Newcastle-under-Lyme,
Staffs.
All Meeting commence 1900 hrs.

Non-members will be allowed to attend two meetings free of charge, then the admission charge will be £2.00 per meeting.
