A bit about the Insult
‘It seems certain that people have been irritated by those
around them ever since our first, most distant ancestors
spent a night in the cave. If our closest relatives,

chimps, are anything to go by, we were finding
ways to be
rude to each other even before we had learnt words to
express our displeasure. Love and scorn go hand in hand
and disapproval is a basic part of the human psyche.
Sometimes, setting diplomacy aside and saying what you
truly mean is the only way to get your message across.
