Britain has an immense history which has generated a fine tradition of hospitality for its friendly visitors.
There is something to interest everyone old and young.
Perhaps your interest may be the many prehistoric remains. Avebury - above - dating from 5,000 years ago.
Stonehenge - above - is actually a smaller circle and is 1,500 years younger!
The Romans lived in Britain for nearly 400 years over two thousand years ago.
The World Heritage City of Bath has its Roman Baths - above - as its legacy.
