In your comment column (Nov 3) you say the world must unite to deliver Iraq from chaos.
But a majority of Muslims would sooner unite with Satan. In the Islamic world the United States, the United Kingdom and Israel are now regarded as the, "Axis of Evil", and all too many in the Islamic world support a Jihad against this evil.
You speak of "terrorists"; they speak of "warriors and martyrs."
General Boykin, Pat Robertson, the Rev Jerry Falwell and others are telling the American people the war has a "religious dimension".
They have described Allah as an "idol," the ultimate blasphemy.
President Bush praises these people and has promoted General Boykin to a senior post in the Pentagon with the express mandate to find and kill Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden.
Do you wonder Muslims dance for joy when Americans die?
We are now being told the Coalition could be in Iraq for years. When challenged by Jon Snow on Channel Four News, Foreign Secretary Jack Straw refused to confirm or deny we could be there for another 10 years.
No doubt Messrs Blair and Bush will assure us it's because the Iraqis want us there.
