WRAMPLINGHAM, a parish 3 miles N. by E. of Wymondham, has 52 scattered houses, 245 souls, and 830 acres of land, mostly the property of C. Lombe, Esq., the lord of the manor, and the Rev. J. S. Cann. The Church, dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul, was thoroughly repaired about ten years ago, and has a tower, round at the base, and sexangular above, in which are three bells. The rectory, valued in the King's book at £5 4s. 9½d., and in 1831 at £294, is enjoyed by the Rev. Thos. Marsham, who resides in a neat house erected in 1850, near the church. Robt. Marsham, Esq., is patron.
