 remel is
a traditional Cornish cottage in the small town of Marazion, within
about two minutes walk down Leys Lane (opposite) to the nearest beach,
other beaches being a short walk away, as is the main part of the
town. The cottage sleeps four adults. There are sea views from the
garden which is up some steps.

Property Description
|
 ntrance - this is at the side of the house at right angles to the road,
with entrance hall.
|
 ounge - includes a large granite fireplace, with electric fire and
comfortable seating, occasional tables, standard lamp, television, dvd,
video, radio, books and games.
|
 itchen/diner - the spacious kitchen/diner has an electric cooker,
microwave, sink unit, cupboards, refrigerator with freezer compartment,
ample crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, steam iron, slow cooker,
dining table with six chairs. A high chair is available if required at no
extra cost.

 tility room - next to the
kitchen with washing machine, adjoining cupboard and patio furniture
for use in the attractive courtyard.
|
 athroom - situated on the
ground floor with bath, shower, toilet, washbasin, shaving light and
socket. Water is heated by immersion heater.
|
edrooms - on the first
floor are two bedrooms, both en suite and with the usual bedroom furniture.

Bedroom 1: double bed (with a z-bed for occasional use).

Bedroom 2: twin beds, a cot is available if required at no extra
cost.
All beds have duvets, extra blankets and pillows All linen and
towels (with the exception of beach towels) are included in the
rental.

 hopping - there are some shops
in the town and supermarkets are within two miles. A frequent bus service
is available if required. Cobble Corner Stores, a general store where one
can buy newspapers and provisions is a few hundred yards away as is a
bakers’ shop selling pasties, bread and other provisions. There is a pub and
hotels where meals can be obtained and also cafes. Evening meals are
available at The Corner House, a restaurant about fifty yards from Tremel, and
at the Marazion Hotel also within easy walking distance. As you approach
Marazion there is a fish and chip takeaway.

 ousekeeping -
Electricity is included in the rental; all rooms have night storage heaters installed. Tremel is next door to Trefa and is personally supervised to a high
standard by the owner. It has been awarded three stars by the Cornwall
Tourist Board.

 arking - A parking space can be
made available if required at no extra charge a few minutes’ walk from the
house. Tenants are allowed to unload and load outside of the cottage.
Penzance railway station is about four miles away with the bus station
adjacent. On arrival by train or coach if you take the bus you should ask
for the first stop after the Marazion Square in Marazion: the numbers of the
buses are mainly 2 and 2a but there are others shown at the bus stop. Taxis
are also available outside of the station. Tremel is between the church and
the chapel and opposite the top of Leys Lane (for information of the taxi
driver).

 uring your holiday you will find that there are also coaches from
Marazion to Plymouth and elsewhere and all parts of Cornwall including the
Eden Project, and Flambards. The bird Sanctuary on Marazion Marshes, run by
the RSPB, is nearby and St. Michael’s Mount is just across a short causeway.

remel is
non-smoking and children are welcome, but regretfully no pets are allowed.
|
ookings are from
Saturday to Saturday and the cottage will be available from
3.00 p.m. on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00
a.m. on Saturday, the day of departure.

permit if required will be available to be collected from Trefa, Fore Street, Marazion, Cornwall, TR17
0AD.

 ental is from
£260 - £450 depending on the season. A deposit of £50 is
payable when booking. This is in addition to the full cost of
the hire of the cottage and will be retained until the end of
the holiday to cover cancellation, damage, breakages etc. It
will be returned after the letting, less any deduction if
necessary. The total amount for the hire of Tremel must be
paid FOUR WEEKS before the date of arrival. In the event of the
hirer cancelling the holiday, £10 will be retained for
administration costs and the remainder returned ONLY if it has
been possible to re-let the cottage.
