Earith Carp Lakes is a large fishery in Cambridgeshire, not far from St Ives and with good transport links via the A1, A14 and M11 for the angler prepared to travel a little further for good fishing. The site contains eight lakes from 25 acres down to 2/3 of an acre where stock levels are constantly monitored to achieve the best results. There are king carp and very large coarse fish in all lakes. In addition, Pingree's Pool, Willow Walk Lake and Virginia Lake hold stocks of Wels catfish. There is a good selection of purpose built swims, many of which enable anglers to deliver their gear very close to where they are fishing.

The annual tickets run for a full twelve months from when people join and no-one is required to do work on the site, although any offers of help are much appreciated. Members can bring their non-fishing wives or girlfriends without charge and there is no restriction on how long members can stay on the site. We must point out, however, that this is a fishery and not a social club and, therefore, we do NOT allow social visits from anyone other than wives and girlfriends whilst members are on the fishery.

We have a membership second to none, and our members are very experienced carp and catfish anglers. Obviously some anglers are more experienced than others, but everyone without exception is pleasant and helpful to their fellow anglers. This is something we wish to maintain thus there is a need for new members to supply a reference. The noise levels on the site are exceptionally low, being well away from the main roads and even further away from the railways, schools and other major sources of noise. We have the added advantage of not having any ugly or dangerous elecricity pylons within sight of our fishery.

Although there are lots of of advantages for anyone fishing on our site probably the three greatest advantages are that it is an exceptionally mature and attractive site, it is safe and secure and also on top of this we can offer differently stocked lakes to cater successfully for short and long stay anglers.

There are few sites you can visit for a day and catch 6 - 12 fish to low twenties on one lake or come for a longer stay and fish another lake to give a possibility of good quality fish in excess of thirty pounds for such a reasonably priced season ticket.
