Virginia lake has forty swims and is the largest lake on our site at 25acres. The other lakes on this ticket are Pingree's Pool at 4 acres, Pat's Pool at 1 acre, George's Water at ¾ acre and Reed Lake at 1½ acres. We aslo have a newly cleaned out 2/3acre lake which will be ready to fish soon.

This is very rich in natural food and carp in this water have been able to put on between 3 - 4lbs per year and in some cases more. There must be between over 500 carp in this lake with upwards of a hundred 20lb fish with fourteen of the bigger specimen running to well over 30lbs with the largest, a common, being thought to be between 45 - 50lbs. Don't forget there are some grass carp in here and these could be approaching 30lbs now. The last time one was caught was two and a half years ago, when it graced the bank at 17lb. During the spring and summer of 2007 several big fish came out of this lake. Martin Churchyard had a 33lb mirror in April and Ian Proud had a common of 35lb 08oz also in April, 2007,  then in May, 2007, Darren Marchant caught a really attractive looking mirror of 33lb 08oz. Also in May, 2007, Tony Whittick had two thirties out in one night. Moving on to early June, 2007, Alan Thinnesen came for a one nighter and caught a P.B. common of 29lb 04oz. Later in 2007 he smashed the lake record with a mirror of 38lb 02oz. We now also have large wels catfish in Virginia, which should have reached 40lb-50lb+ by now (spring 2008).  Because I restrict the membership numbers you will always find a swim on Virginia.

These are both good stalking waters and several carp to high doubles have visited the bank in 2007.

This is a small shallow lake but it contains some good carp and a wide range of other good coarse fish.

There are King carp to upper twenties and possibly 30s and Wels catfish to 40lbs-50lb+ ( these wels cats were stocked in Oct 2001 and have  done well). However, very few anglers fish this very attractive piece of water, so why not try your luck on there in 2007.  We also have a range of good coarse fish in this water and a number of grass carp.
